The aim of the Sanctuary Space is to offer a safe environment, where everyone is welcome and everyone belongs.
At the Sanctuary Space, we offer a place to eat, drink and be welcome.
There are people to talk to if you have things that are worrying you.
There are people to help with practical problems.
We offer advice and support, help and encouragement.
But, most importantly, it is a place to come and be yourself.
Young people have been gathering at the building where the Sanctuary Space is located for the last eight years. Some have grown and now bring their own children. In the evenings, we offer all young people a space to call their own, with music, free refreshments, wi-fi and activities. Help and support is also available. One young person said: ‘Without this place, I don’t know where I would be. It’s changed my life.’
